Each
year thousands of visitors come to the Abbey Museum.
Students from throughout Queensland and northern NSW
visit us and take part in one of our unique school
programs. We offer lots of options for you to get
value from your visit.

SCHOOL VISITS
The Museum offers schools a number of popular
Educational activities (See below). These programs
include visits to see our priceless collections of
artefacts, archaeological digs, environmental heritage
trails, medieval and Egyptian programs and other history
presentations.
Teachers can download activity sheets from this site and
our staff work with students throughout the visit.
We
invite you to include one of our Educational Programs in
your curriculum. Join the many schools already
taking advantage of these excellent programs.

We
can arrange Professional Development workshops with
teachers who want to discuss how we can work together to
create new and informative programs for students.
NB:
The Museum is air conditioned and has wheel chair
access. It holds up to 150 students comfortably.
