Ask
our helpful staff if you have questions about art,
archaeology and history. If we cannot help you
immediately we have an extensive network of experts to
call on.
Staff
at the Abbey Museum regularly undertake identifications
and research artefacts and objets d'art for clients and
visitors.
A
donation fee to the Museum is requested for artefact
identifications under half an hour. Identifications over
half an hour are charged at $50 per hour. If staff are
asked to undertake further research, a fee is
negotiated. We regret that valuations for items are not
permitted, as this contravenes UNESCO policy for
museums.
